There are few places in this part of Pattaya that can beat this in terms of sheer charm. With white wood-panels all around, a central display of pastries and seashells hanging from the walls, this has boutique written all over it.
A chalkboard displays the various coffees, shakes and smoothies on offer, while the mother of all coffee machine sits waiting to produce lattes and americanos. We arrived for breakfast and were offered three main choices - small, medium or large. The large option comes with bacon, tomatoes, potatoes and baked beans, while the small version arrives with bacon, eggs and assorted bread.

Alternatively, you could have scrambled egg on toast, topped with salmon, or omelette. Our dish included generous helpings of bacon (and proper bacon too, not the stuff that's 80 per cent fat), while the poached eggs were perfectly fluffy. If there was one downside, it was that the baked beans were stone cold.
The bread is a pleasant bonus, as it's fresh, there's a variety of white or wholemeal and it comes with (we think) homemade strawberry jam. The mid-size breakfast was 149B.

If you arrive later in the day, there's also a pizza menu. Loaf joins the growing band of quality restaurants around Soi Buakhao and if you're after a great place to sip coffee and relax, this could be your new second home.
